Sample Conditioning and Delivery Systems, Supplied Complete With Every TC Limited Analyser

A gas analyser is only as good as the sample it receives. In extractive gas analysis, the sampling system is part of the measurement itself. It takes a representative sample from the process, removes dust and moisture, brings it to the right temperature, pressure, and flow, and delivers it to the analyser without changing its composition. A poorly designed sampling system causes blocked lines, corrosion, drifting readings, and frequent maintenance, however good the analyser is.

What Is Included

Each sampling system is built from the components your application needs, typically including:

  1. Sample probe: extracts a representative sample from the stack, pipe, or vessel, with options for different lengths, materials, and mounting flanges.
  2. Heated filter: removes dust and particulates at the point of extraction, with blowback options to keep it clear.
  3. Heated sample line: transports the sample while keeping it above its condensation point.
  4. Sample gas cooler: removes moisture in a controlled way, using a compressor or Peltier cooler with a condensate drain.
  5. Mist and membrane filters: protect the analyser from fine droplets, aerosols, and acid mist.
  6. Sample pump: draws the sample through the system, with chemically resistant diaphragm pump options.
  7. Pressure regulators and flow meters: keep pressure and flow steady so readings stay stable.
  8. Calibration gas connections: allow zero and span checks with test gases at the touch of a valve.
  9. Enclosure: the whole system mounted on a panel, rack, or cabinet, or housed in a weatherproof shelter.

Configured for Your Application

Clean,
dry gases

a compact panel mounted arrangement with filtration, pressure regulation, and flow control.

Hot, wet
process gas

a heated arrangement with a heated probe, filter, and sample line, so the sample stays above its dew point until it reaches the conditioning stage.

Flue gas and emissions monitoring

dust and moisture removal with acid resistant filtration, suited to gases such as SO2 and NO2.

Hazardous areas and harsh climates

cabinet or shelter installations with purge, heating, and ventilation options.

Where Our Sampling Systems Are Used

Power generation, boilers and furnaces, cement and lime kilns, refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing, industrial gas production, waste incineration, biogas plants, and continuous emissions monitoring systems.
